While many husbands would love to believe that they would know if their wife were cheating, the sad truth is that women are way better at keeping their affairs a secret than men. Nevertheless, there are some signs that husbands can be in tuned with in case they feel that their wives are cheating. If you are a married man, ask yourself these questions to determine if your wife is having an affair:
1. Is she emotionally detached? This is usually the first sign of an affair occurring or an indication that one is about to occur. If she doesn't seem to care much about issues in the marriage that at one time greatly distressed her...watch out, she may be cheating.
2. Is she coming home later at night and going directly to the shower too tired for sex? This could be an indication that she is sexually involved with someone else.
3. Does your wife have a "new" cousin? You've been married for five years, have gone to all family functions, and have met all of the family. Now, this guy is coming over and hanging with your wife and when you confront her, she says that he is her cousin. This is a sign that she could be cheating.
4. Is she wanting you to try new cologne all of a sudden when she used to LOVE your present fragrance? Her new beau could have introduced her to that fragrance.
5. In the bedroom, is she asking you to sexually flip her and toss her in ways that you've never done before? ( Let's face it, that can be a good thing), but if it's out of the blue and very technical..hmmm....she could be cheating.
6. Do you FEEL that your wife is cheating? We tend to ignore our inner voice that tells us when things are not right. If you feel that your wife is cheating, she very well could be cheating.
7. When receiving phone calls, does she go into the next room while talking so you can't hear the conversation? Or does she receive a call and only says things like "uh, huh...yup...okay"..and things like that? This is a major sign that she is cheating
8. Is she having "girls night out" more frequently, and you're not invited anymore? Maybe she's not with the girls at all...she could be cheating.
9. Is she suddenly and more frequently cancelling your date nights? This is an indication that she is cheating.
10. Is she coming home with expensive jewelry and/ or gifts, and can't explain where she got them from?
If you have answered "yes" to two or more of these questions, it is time to have a serious conversation with your wife. Remember, that your suspicion doesn't translate into a fact. Allow her to explain some of these indiscretions. It may very well open a door to a more healthful and loving relationship; something worth holding on to.
