CHRISTMAS FUTURE
I could have titled this "Christmas Fantasy" because it hasn't happened yet. In the past we felt that we don't know what the future holds, but in recent years, studying concepts like the Law of Attraction and The Secret has revealed to me that glimpses I have seen in the past were of what is really to be.
Instead I called it "Christmas Future" for I know that it will happen. All of the details are not clear to me and so on those points I will not speculate. I will only share what I absolutely know, for I have seen the future.
My favorite Christmas song for many years has been "Oh Holy Night." It is a touching song about the true meaning of Christmas. Then five Christmas seasons ago while driving home from work, I heard a new song on the radio. At least it was new to me because as I write this I realize that I don't know when it was written or recorded.
The song was "Christmas Canon" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. It is not to be confused with a different interpretation titled "Christmas Canon Rock." That version doesn't appeal to me at all.
Over the next couple of weeks I heard it a number of times and couldn't get enough of it. As with "Oh Holy Night," the theme is appropriate to the season. The way that I interpret it is that we await the birth of Christ at midnight, which event makes all things possible through eternity.
The melody and singing is so ethereal it is hard for me to describe. It takes me to a place of happiness within my heart and soul where all is good and I feel peace in the world. It has to be one of the most beautiful songs that I have ever heard.
It is a similar feeling that I get when I hear old Latin songs such as "Ave Maria" and "Adeste Fideles" which is "Come all Ye Faithful."
The following Christmas season I was hearing all kinds of seasonal songs but not the one that I remembered from the year before and desperately wanted to hear.
I was chatting with a friend on line and mentioned that I hadn't heard it yet that year and amazingly she had it on her computer. I ended up with my own copy and must have immediately played it fifteen to twenty times in a row, nonstop.
If it had been a record, I would have worn out the grooves that Christmas.
A couple of years ago when I was moving, I gave away my computer and stored my important document files on a memory stick to transpose to my future laptop. Unfortunately "Christmas Canon" was not saved. I did not have room for everything.
The events that I am about to share with you came to me
