Poetry: Laughter
by Bobby Coles
Laughter Is The Best Medicine
When your spirit has become dampened
The noose is already tied around the rafter
You can
"L" Is for Laughter
"L" is for laughter,
So good for the soul,
An inward feeling of joy,
It can make one feel whole!
When I was little you tickled me
Under my arms and behind my knees
I wrenched and giggled as little kids do
Then I still
JUST LAUGH
Of course, we'd never mock you, Dear.
We're laughing with, not at, you.
Your reputation, we'd not smear,
We don't
Laughter is not well known to me
for too much pain i've had to see
Tired am i now of all this disdain
laughter a skill i now
