Cortex Command

First thing you will notice with the game is that it loads very slow. I mean very slow for a game with such a very bad graphics. Even my two year old son or my eleven year old daughter won't be mesmerized by it. Second thing you will notice is that the window for the game is in a small one so if you plan to play the game in a laptop with 14" wide screen you can't read any of the text it is showing. And when you transfer into full screen mode the graphics gets uglier. I really don't understand why the creator of this game made the characters so small that it can't be recognized. And used a font with small size and bold types...very hard to read. The color combination also is not the great...could have used some more contrasting colors to emphasize the characters from the background.

As for the tutorial of the game, it not very user friendly. The instructions are not very clear and sometimes confusing too. I have not seen any options in the game to call for help if needed. I would suggest that at the beginning of the tutorial a clear goal should be establish so the the player knows what to do.

I also don't understand why the creator of the game insist of using the alphanumeric when controlling the movements of the characters, in this case the robots. They could have simply opted to use the reliable arrow keys. They did not even mention in the tutorial the you can control your character by mouse.

I can say that Cortex Command is one of the worst game I had ever played. I hope you can use my comments as a reference for improving the game. I would not buy this game even if the maker of it would say that they will sell it at a very low price. I would not recommend it to anybody also. No offense meant in this review...just trying to help the game developer..peace!

I would rate it : 1/5
