We've arrived at football Nirvana. The grind of the regular season has turned into the excitement of Championship football. Every sport has a team that for a time develops into a yearly fixture at the playoffs. In football, for many years it was Dallas, or for a time San Francisco, and lately it's been St. Louis. Now, it seems that New England has established itself as the team to topple. I would like to see the Colts do it, but alas, I have my doubts that it can happen. The Pats have too much on the field and in their heads.
Chicago against the Saints? Please! There isn't enough sympathy wishing in the world for the Saints to win. This is Chicago's year to be showcased in the Superbowl.
Having said all of that, both games should be very intertaining. There probably won't be any blowouts. I can see the scores of both games running about 23 to 16 or so. But you can count on the Pats and Bears slugging it out in the Superbowl.
