I love you in ways that could not be sung;
a song, melodious, that rolls softly in my palate.
Every lyric savored by the buds of my tongue.
And rises slowly to peaks undefined.
I love you in ways that could not be described.
A ramble of words into the open, wide space.
They fill every nook and cranny of my mind.
But alas! They could not reach you, I still pine.
I love you as infinite as this poem.
The rush of rhythm is quite immeasurable.
They run in puny words and long verses.
And supplant what is unattainable.
I love you because I love you, dearest.
