I've been married for 21 years. My husband has learned how to be a great husband with a lot of practice over the last 21 years. He has learned to absolute perfection on what to say to me to make me happy. What's more is he does it all the time, just not for special occasions such as my birthday or Mother's Day. To keep your wife happy, here are ten things to tell your wife to keep her HAPPY!

1. No you don't look old. This is great. Now that we have been married for 21 years, and we got married when we were both obviously a lot younger and thinner and better looking. I need reassurance, that I am not an old woman. And I need my husband to tell me that I don't look like an old woman either. When a woman looks at you really concerned, guys, look very earnest and say, "No dear you don't look any older than the day I married you." Even if we do look older, worn out and exhausted.

2. Do I look fat? When a woman asks you this, never ever tell her that whatever she is wearing makes her look fat. If you answer yes or even hesitate with this question you will be sleeping in the doghouse. Even if your wife just had a baby, or is pregnant tell her she looks great and you love the way she looks.

3. Tell your wife that she is a great Mother. All women with kids want to hear this. We need to hear it from you once in awhile so that we really feel it and feel that all our hard work, and stretch marks aren't for nothing.

4. We really need to hear this one everyday-"I love you." Tell your wife everyday that you love her. A wife needs to know she is loved by her husband. And if something awful were to happen, which it isn't, we need to know that you love us. It just might mean the difference between some action in the bedroom or not.

5. A husband should tell his wife that she is pretty. No matter what she is wearing, and how much weight she has gained after marrying you-tell her she looks really pretty. Better yet, tell your wife she looks really pretty when she isn't dressed up-when she is washing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen. Then she will feel more confident about her looks, and feel better about herself.

6. What else can a husband say to his wife to keep her happy? How about, "I'm taking you out for dinner tonigt so you don't have to cook." That sounds like a dream made in heaven to me. I don't think my husband has ever said this. But maybe after I show him this article he will say this once or twice.
