Lay down your sequined dress
let the early morning sunshine, bless
Show me your webs, and pearl legged spiders
open your pages, for all the outsiders
Unfolding worlds, with calydoscope view
sparkling, twinkling, shimmering, dew
Let Fairies, Goblins and Pixies, rejoice
as night transitions into day, so moist
Changing this blanket, to sunny quilt
creatures of night, crawl into homes, just built
Laiden with gatherings, and offerings of night
with the dew, the moon, slowly fading, from sight

Dew is the earth's tears,
Shed in remembrance of the day.
Shed in longing for the light,
For the warmth to stay just

I woke before the sun
When the earth was still damp
from morning dew.
The sky was still dark,
And the air was cool and crisp.
I
by Jack Ivey
The rising sun
Comes into view
Glistens upon
Fresh morning dew
Damp on the lawn
Droplets of love
Sent from the heavens
by Ila Ann
Walking slowly through a field
Lavender, lilies, lilacs and clover
All of them covered with mist
….and the clouds
