Trust
I deposited my secrets within your safe,
Knowing they were forever hidden;
Knowing no one else would ever know,
Even if you were ridden.
The things that made me really mad,
Only you would know,
This knowledge only you would have,
Would surely help us grow.
When I became so very sad,
I would tell you of my sorrow,
No matter how bad it was,
You'd make me happy by tomorrow.
When I have a real bad problem,
And life has brought me down,
You throw me on a pedestal,
And handed me a crown.
The secrets we have together,
Are special just to us,
That is why we are best friends,
We're the only ones we trust!
