Poetry: Losing you

Losing you was the worst nightmare that came true

And now I am all lonely, sad, and blue

Where have you disappeared?

Into thin air you have vanished

Where have you gone?

Leaving me lost and forlorn

The pain never ceases

And now my whole being cries

That losing you was the worst nightmare that came true

And now I am all lonely, sad, and blue

My lonely heart weeps

Your loving embrace it seeks

But only emptiness it finds

The ache seeps into my mind

And to me it reminds

That losing you was the worst nightmare that came true

And now I am all lonely, sad, and blue

Now there is no sun and no rain

No one to smile and no one to laugh again

Now it's just me and my pain

Come back please

My lonesome soul cries

Come back again

To wipe off the pain

Come back and be mine

For losing you was the worst nightmare that came true

And now I am all lonely, sad, and blue
