Breaking the cycle of domestic abuse involves breaking the generational curse that has plagued homes, families, and society far too long. Breaking this vicious cycle involves coming to the knowledge and understanding of the truth. Not only does God hates abuse. It is not his will that any woman, man, girl or boy should suffer at the hands of someone else. We are his creation, made in his image and likeness. Domestic abuse is a crime and should be treated as such. For too long it has become a way of life for many victims.

Domestic Violence is an epidemis. There are so many women dealing with this issue who feel that there is no way out. But that is not true. Breaking the cycle of domestic abuse starts with you. Any change that you will experience can only start with you. It is having a change of heart and a change of mind. Before you can ever really walk away from an abusive relationship you have to allow yourself to give birth to the other you. All that you need to survive and thrive is already within. It is lying dormant waiting to be activated. Before a woman physically leaves a situation she must prepare her heart and her mind with the truth.

The truth may be that a victim was previously wounded during her childhood years. Unresolved wounds create more problems in our lives. We cannot break free from what we deny. Covered wounds don't heal. In order to break the cycle of abuse one must come to terms with the unresolved issues of their past. He/she must not deny past hurts, but see it for what it is. Most people disassociate themselves from their past experiences . But the past is a good indication of why you are where you are today.

Breaking the cycle means choosing to seek healing, restoration and wholeness of the mind, body and spirit.

It is important to understand that abuse is a spirit. It is a generational curse that must be broken. The cycle has to stop somewhere. Why not let it be you? Most women have been conditioned to keep domestic abuse a family secret. It is often referred to as a private matter. However, it is not a private matter. Only when it is sweep under the rug. Domestic abuse is a demonic force designed to kill, steal and destroy. Leaving victims, oppressed, depressed, in bondage and distress, wounded in mind, body and spirit. Because it is a demonic force, it must be addressed from a spiritual perspective.

Breaking the cycle of abuse involves seeking the divine assistance of a higher power. Believing that you can have an exodus experience.
