Sometimes it can be difficult to find the romantic side of Las Vegas in the midst of the quickie wedding chapels, with their drive-through services and Elvis impersonators. Luckily, for the true romantic who wants to do things the old-fashioned way, there are some magical places in Las Vegas to propose. Any one of these five lovely locations will be sure to dazzle, leading to a quickened pulse, a spark of true romance, and most importantly, a "yes."
#1) High Above the City Lights
Show your sweetheart the heights your future together will reach by taking her far above the city. The Stratosphere Tower is the tallest free-standing observation tower in the US, and the breathtaking view from the almost-dizzying height will make you feel like the only two people in the world. Start with a sumptuous dinner at the Top of the World, a revolving gourmet restaurant on the 106th floor, and finish it off with one of their signature desserts (like Belgian Chocolate Mousse). Just when she thinks it can't get any more romantic, whisk her to the observation deck and make your proposal. You'll both feel literally on top of the world.

#2) In a Tropical Island Paradise
Like an oasis in the middle of the desert, the Tropicana Hotel recreates a lush island setting with palm trees, exotic foliage, a five acre pool, and even tropical wildlife. The only hard part is deciding which exact spot to pick to pop the question. My vote goes to any one of the waterfalls, where you can stand in front of the cascading water with nearby flamingos, swans and parrots. While you're there in the midst of the tropical splendor, tell your intended that you'd love to go to the real version for your honeymoon. Before she can completely register the surprise, ask her to marry you. You can follow with a Hawaiian-themed dinner or drinks.

#3) After a Day in Paris, France
The miniature version of the Parisian City of Lights enables you to propose in Europe without leaving the country. Make a day of it by walking the cobblestone pathways amid the wrought iron street lamps to visit replicas of the Louvre, the Paris Opera and the Arc de Triomphe. Stop for a baguette and cheese to snack on, and don't forget the wine. There's only one ultimate destination to propose here: the top of the Eiffel Tower. Between the wine, the atmosphere and all the French je ne sais quois, you are almost
