Poetry: Demons

by Zach Crepeau

Created on: December 15, 2008

This Hatred so Hot and Cold

A fire that burns without Air

Eyes that slice through Stone

Take Flight for more then Fright

Your Pain is our Gain

To be surrounded yet all Alone

Insatiable appetite far from Fair

Staying young yet growing Old

This torment like Sound all Around

Our Thirst by far the Worst

The soul has been Sold

Appetite now our only Care

Your fear my only Home

Demons of Day we Stay

Stalkers of Light each Night

We do far more then Scare

As you feel our Thirst

This mystery can only Confound
