Here I am again- alone,
I never said, there'd be more
I've regretted every tear I've cried,
until you came knockin on my door.
It's the nighttime blues
Sometimes I wonder if there's ever been more than you.
Night time blues
comes when you think you knew
Never been one to complain
always stopped to think when I behave
lost my nerve, now I'm back again
It's the night time blues
I'm drinkin and thinkin of you
The nighttime blues,
can I ever get over you too.
Baby, I've lied and I've stolen
ever bit of dignity I could
I've never been more down
Never thought I should
I stopped my thinkin
my reasoning, cause I've lost everything
then found
myself
Night time blues, have you ever been more than you?
Night time blues, damn if I could eat my nerve
and apologize to you.
