I was lonely and sad,

Walking alone on this road,

No one to love and no one to care,

And then you walked into my life,

Like a breath of fresh air.

You taught me the meaning of life,

You showed me how to dream and be alive,

I was no longer alone, I no longer cried,

Since you walked into my life,

And said you loved and you cared.

There was a bounce in my walk,

Non stop about you I would talk,

I had someone to love and someone to care,

Since you walked into my life,

Like a breath of fresh air.

I started smiling again,

I started to enjoy the rain,

I started to dance and sing,

Because of all the happiness you brought,

To my lonely heart,

When you walked into my life,

And asked me to be your wife.
