Jack watched as Abby twirled herself around on the balcony at his apartment. She had never looked more amazing than she did tonight, dressed in a short red dress that clung to her body in all the right places. Her hair was tied up in a high ponytail which bounced about when she moved. She looked incredibly joyful; the smile on her face never faltering. Her soft skin practically glowed in the moonlight as she excitedly looked around, taking in the wonderful view.
"Come here, Jack," she urged, her voice sweet and melodic.
As if under a spell, he walked towards her, not daring to take his eyes off her for he feared that she would disappear. He feared that this was not at all real. He wrapped his arms around her, and she wrapped her arms around his neck. They swayed along to a soft lullaby that Jack hadn't noticed was playing before this. She leaned on him as they danced. Jack was careful when he twirled her around. She laughed; it was the most beautiful sound he had ever heard.
The song ended, and the next one started playing, but they had already stopped dancing. Abby looked up at Jack, who was contemplating whether he should kiss her. He stroked her cheek gently, and she closed her eyes. With one hand firm around her waist, he brought her nearer to him, lowering his mouth to hers. He felt a tingling sensation as Abby wrapped her arms around his neck again. His lips was about to touch hers, he could almost feel it. His heart pounded in his chest.
RINGGGGG.
Jack jerked awake, and though his eyes were only half open,
