Cape Cod
Ah the tantalizing tease, on the mere memory,
Of the warm Cape Cod breeze. The Flowing Pines,
the Seven Sand Bars that bask in the Sun,
Bluefish having fun, as they rustle in the run,
And Gulls swoop down, in hopes of catching one.
Sun-Sets ablaze with the Reflection of the Rays,
On the rippling water of the Bay. Ah Ti's a warm
Feeling, in the Heart of Harmony and Contentment,
Of the Red Barn and me.
The Desolation of an Oceanfront in December,
As The Beachcomber rolls In, reclaiming the Sand,
So in Demand.
Sand Dunes on the Lower Cape
Forever changing Shape
The image of The Outer Most House, lost and Gone,
Through the Sea's Endeavor but the Memories will last Forever.
The Endless Hours floating upon a Raft
On a warm calm Bay, this is my Play.
These are The Memories of One that has been, come, and Gone,
And will return one Day

Poetry: Just for you
by Jon Coe
You gave me life then set me free
Free to do the things that made me, me
But there wasn't a me that I could find
So I followed
The Last Gasp
There was a day, when I looked around, and I looked within.
With a heart that was hardened against the world,
I may have done,
as you asked me to,
took his life,
just for you
my baleful cry
from reluctant lungs
sang - Die!
as the hatchet
I'd put off any work and rush to your side
Drop what I'm doing and run outside
Put my academics and labor aside
Rather than
For my son.
My Little Star
Where does it all go,
All the time I once thought I had?
The world in my hands
Just waiting to be
