Wife - Emmy Mother of five grown up kids that have move out of the home already.
Husband - Mark Father of the kids he is self center thinks the world owns him something, against everything and everyone.
Girls - Three girls Rosie, Ruth, and Molly.
Boys - Sam, and Ronnie.
They are all coming for Thanksgiving lunch with their partners this year.
Emmy: Oh Mark we are going to have more guests this year.
Mark: Why is that? Who did you invite? I don't want to sit and entertain people I don't have time for. Looks like every-year our kids are pulling out from coming here for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Now you still want more people to come. Why the heck can't it just be us two and you get to save on cooking? I'm happy with just some pork crackling.
Emmy: Oh don't be daft now. All our kids are coming this year and they will all be bringing someone with them, that all.
Mark: What you mean Ruth is coming also?
Emmy: She is our daughter why should she not come?
Mark looks at his wife
Mark: She has not been home for five years now - so now she is coming. Is she coming alone or what?
Emmy: No she is coming with a friend.
Mark: What will it be this friend?
Emmy: Mark you know.
Mark: No I don't know. Last time was five years ago in the shed kissing her friend. What is she now a dyke or what?
Emmy: How can you say that? She made it clear that she is a lesbian and I have accepted it now so why can't you?
Mark: How the heck can she do that to us? What? We just have to say "okay go your way it is your life."
Emmy: Yes.
Mark: Well, it is not okay with me. I'm against it and now you want me to sit and just accept it. I will not Emmy no.
Emmy: Well if you feel like this now about Ruth then I better give all the other news as well.
Mark: More news what? Have they all turned now?
Emmy: Well now you know about Ruth but there is more and you are not going to like it, but I want you to not get upset. We don't want to lose our kids.
Mark: What is it Emmy? I'm giving nobody any loans they wanted to move to the big city and make more money but you have been sending money to all of them. Don't think I don't know.
Emmy: No it's not about money - the kids
Mark: Oh bloody hell! Just say it now all ready. What more could be worse then having a daughter who loves girls, sick I tell you.
Emmy: Well Rosie she got married and she got a baby girl.
Mark: What the hell? Without telling us? When did this happen and why do we know only now?
Emmy: I knew and the money I sent was for Rosie. But there's more.
Mark: What more can there
