DARK AND MYSTERIOUS
Dark and mysterious, you like to follow;
When I take a drink, you even swallow.
No matter how fast I walk, you match my every stride;
Sometimes you are short, sometimes you are wide.
I raise my hands, so do you;
Mimic me, that's all you do.
Never seen your face, but I know who you are;
You are always with me, no matter near or far.
Maybe if I get up early, you won't be there;
I'm just fooling myself, you are everywhere.

Poetry: I dare you
I dare you to be
A man, smart and free
To be all that's good
In everything, you should
To face adversity, with
by Carol Gioia
I dare you to pursue your dreams,
pushing the limits until
your heart bursts at the seams.
I dare you to get involved, genuinely
I dare you to love me
to give your all
to never look back
and never fear the fall
I dare you to lose
the attitude you portray
by Rob E
I dare you to find
A man of like mind
And talk of ways
To better our days
I double-dare you to find
I dare you to care
For folks
Daddy said someone took mommy away
And he cried with my brother and me
Hoping she would come home any day
And wanting things
