It's Christmas once again and you still have no idea what to get your girlfriend. Whether you have been together for a few weeks or a few years you want to get her something that says you care. Money is tight for everyone so the expense of the gift isn't what's important instead the thought you put into matters the most. Telling her how special she is can be done by showing how well you know her. Now is the time when all that listening you've done is going to pay off in the form of the perfect gift for her this holiday season.

You know what she wants for Christmas all you have to do is think a minute. When you were out she has let some hints slip by lingering at a window just a bit too long or admiring something out loud as you passed it. She will give you all sorts of ideas as to what to get her but you have to remember which gifts to avoid. Cleaning supplies aren't a Christmas gift that any woman wants. There are somethings that she will enjoy though just stay away from house wares, no woman wants her boyfriend to give her something to do work with on a special occassion such as Christmas.

Jewellery is a nice gift for her no matter how long she's been your girlfriend. A bracelet with matching earrings makes a nice gift Christmas morning and can be found in matching sets so you have less work to do. A necklace is a nice accessory, maybe something with her birthstone in it. Her birthstone at Christmas time is a nice touch since that'll show her you remember her birthday.

While make up is something lots of women love it's not something you want to give your girlfriend. The colour has to match the skin tone and without your girlfriend the chances of matching the colour to her skin tone is slim; besides she might get insulted. Although if you has a favourite perfume you can get her a bottle of that for Christmas and watch her face light up. Just make sure you know your girlfriend well enough to know that she won't be offended by it. Be sure to get her favorite and not yours since most women are very loyal to thier scent and resist changing it.

How old you are will also affect the types of gifts that are given to your girlfriend this Christmas. Is your girlfriend into books or video games? You can buy her a book from her favourite author or a video game you know she's been wanting for some time. Women like to read and tailoring the book purchase to her favourite author or subject matter will help to ensure she likes it. If she has a favourite story you can try to find a collectors edition of the book for her.

When shopping for your girlfriend this Christmas keep in mind what she likes wants and collects. Porcelain dolls are a collector's item that is fairly easy to find. Take a peek at her collection and see if you can remember what she has then simply get her either one large doll or a couple of small dolls that she doesn't have.

Christmas gift ideas for your girlfriend will come to you as long as you are paying attention. She loves you so she'll love anything that you get her as long as you make the effort to know her before you buy. Thoughtfullness is the main thing when giving a gift, giving thought to what she has said and done in the past will help you to find the perfect gift for her this Christmas.
