Must do all my studying
Cannot toil the day away
Have to sit and read my notes
Instead of going out to play
Oh how I wish I could go outside
And run and leap and jump
In its place I have to read
Or else my grades will dump
Studying takes up so much time
And yet never seems to be done
Reading, writing, figures
Feels like there's never fun
Cannot waste any time its true
Or else my tests I'll fail
Read chapter after chapter
Some days I just want to bail
But my schooling I must see it through
Until I reach the end
When that day finally arrives
Then I'll have time to spend
Studying takes up so much time
As the urge to sleep I fight
How tired my eyes get
When I'm up studying late at night
When the year is over
And graduation looms near
Finally I'll have time to play
No more studying! I'll cheer

It's darker when
THE STUDIOUS ALMA MATER
I like potions,
That make you nice and smart,
That put the cheat sheet in your hand,
So I won't even
