DWARFS
CAVE DWELLERS
In days of old if story be told
Dwarfs would wield an ax and mine for gold
Silver and gold and diamonds behold
Always the collectors these mineral inspectors
Hewed halls lined with silver walls of bold
Floors of marble and ceilings of gold
Represents the Dwarf's humble abode
A white beard and a scarlet hood
Would be quite understood
For that was the garb of the day
needless to say
And a mug of beer was always good cheer
Talk of goblins and dragons of blue
would most surely ensue
These days are long gone
Remembered only in story and song
