Health benefits associated with using garlic

Three cloves of garlic has 13 calories, no fat or cholesterol but contains more than 200 vitamins, amino acids, enzymes and minerals.

Nutrients are calcium, magnisium, potassium, zinc, iron, selenium, germanium, sulfur, and vitamins A, B, C.

Eating garlic fights fungus, parasites and viral infections, anti-cancer and helps maintain good health by activating the immune system.

GARLIC HEALTH BENEFITS

5. Prevent whooping cough by keeping the bottoms of the feet covered with mashed garlic until breath smells like garlic.

GARLIC FOOD PREPARATIONS

Garlic salt - 1 cup salt, 6 garlic cloves. Put peeled garlic cloves in jar with tight lid. Add salt and age for 1 week. Shake twice a day. At the end of the week add portions to soup, salads, stir fry and rice. etc. Keep jar tightly capped between uses.

Zesty Garlic Oil - 6 garlic cloves, 2 cups oil -place peeled cloves in oil and set for 3 days.

Garlic Vinegar - 2 cloves garlic, 2 cups vinegar - place peeled cloves in vinegar and let set for 1 week.

Garlic Spread - Bring a small saucepan of water to boil and add 3 unpeeled garlic bulbs separated into cloves. Simmer 10-15 minutes until garlic is soft. Use enough water to keep the cloves covered. Slip the garlic out of the skins by squeezing them into a bowl.

Blend the soft cooked garlic into 1 cup mayonnaise, butter, sour cream, cream cheese or yogurt. Spread lightly on meat, fish, bread, crackers, or use as a topping for baked potatoes or vegetables.

Other ways to use garlic

2. Garlic mashed potatoes

3. Garlic, onions, green and yellow zucchini sauted in olive oil.

4. Add to eggs, sandwiches - try a tomato watercress sandwich with garlic

5. Garlic baked chicken or hamburger and garlic.

I love garlic in almost everything and it's an antibiotic too.
