THE CHISTMAS MORNING:

SETTING: CHICAGO THE RICHARDS LIVING ROOM

(The first scene)if of a shot of the clock ticking on the wall/Then the circle of individuals standing around and sitting on couches, standing near the fire place, all looking at their watches to agree with the time. Donald Richards, looks over at his wife Brenda, who's sitting on the loveseat staring outside of her window looking up at the snowfalling at the sun rising up in the sky. Announcing the arrival of daybreak

Officer Stern(entering from the kitchen holding a picture in his hand stops at the window)-"Mrs, Richards I hate to bother your right now but do you by any chance have another picture better then this one for Rodney?

Brenda(wiping the tears from her eyes reaches up to snatch the picture from the officer)-"None, of this would be happening to us now if he would've spent more time at home like I asked instead of partying with the town tramp,"

Donald (placing his head in his hands beings to sob)-"I, know that all of this is my fault Brenda you don't think that I carry the memory of that night with me!

Brenda-(locating a recent picture of him on the mantle she reaches to give it to the officer yet has her eyes on her husband)-"You, where too busy to take notice that our only son was crying out for your attention! No, what was more important to you was her...............What, is she even doing here anyway!

Officer Carmen Howard(sitting next to him trying to rest her hand in his yet is rejected)-"First, allow me to say that I'm here to do my job not for a social visits! What, happened in your relationship had nothing to do with me your marriage was over the day the he found out about Rodney!

Brenda(charging toward her with her fists balled standing over the two of them)-"You, callyourself a protector of the people yet you help yourself to my husband and my lifestyle and you think, that I'm going to now trust you to follow up on my son's disappearance? He, was in love with you, found out that you were carrying his child, and because you made the choice to choose my husband over him! He's, now gone! If, I were you captain Spencer I'd ask for her resignation right now!

Officer Carmen Howard(Rising to her feet and frowning at her)-How, dare you question my loyalty to this squad! I've fought in the streets of Chicago for years and took an oath to serve and protect! while you with your lavish lifestyle, fancy cars and $400,00 manicures, and shopping sprees wouldn't know the first thing about
