Pull in front of the house
with the most Christmas lights
and smile because you're supposed to.
There are messages
on the machine too,
all the usuals,
mom,
the brothers,
best friend,
that girl who keeps calling.
And when you check
your Email
that's backed up too.
Up the stairs,
back to your cave
with all your
gadgets
and
trinkets,
the television set
on mute
while
some music
plays.
You're
nothing
special,
but
they
clamor
for
you
anyway.
Turn the
light off,
let
that music
sink
in.
There's
a mirror
above your desk
but
no
one
looks
in
there
anymore.

Poetry: Incomplete
by Bobby Coles
Sentences gone unfinished
Hanging in the balance
Shy away from approaching
My thoughts incomplete
As Yet Untitled
Thoughts begin
by erase
The Truth of Incomplete
Like a bird that has lost its flock
Or a clock that does not tick or tock

I want to hear your eyes saying
The incomplete meet fulfilment even in lost uncompleted love.
Fulfilling love is regained in not dying while still alive
by Jon Coe
This part of me that has been missing
I saw a glimmer, when we were kissing
You came into my life, it felt complete
it went
