How the media in America is corrupting our youth?




America is corrupting our youth using the media and advertisements. Media and technology have taken over our nation. We spend more hours with a computer or electronic object; than we do with our family at dinner. We are in a state of boredom, with the need for instant gratification, like an instant messenger conversation. It is affecting us deeply, whether we know it or not.The media is influencing us in matters, of repetition of commercials, louder sounds and interesting light that captivities, our eyes. Media is used to grab our attention and sway the mind as it pleases. We have a need to want things we don't need. But the impact, media has on us is an influence, were we are controlled with the part of the brain that wishes to fulfill are wants and not are needs. We are humans, but corporations see us as an object to influence us, with sometimes, deceit to make a quick buck.

We believe that a product can make things better or make us happier. We cannot buy happiness or a better life. People try hard to fit in with the latest trends. With what is new, be like a celebrity. Starts even have a high standard, of feeling the need for material things and brand.

We as people of income; feel deprived as if we were missing something in are life, if we can not possess material objects in are life, we feel in- complete. It affects us in a bad way. We take a lot more for granted now, except when the times get hard, and then we are grateful for what we have.

We make a choice of how the negative influence, affects us. Therefore, we should use are better judgment between what we what and need and between the good and bad. We are the guinea pigs, being tested in a lab by Greed. Power. Hungry. Corporations. (GPHC): Who want us to provide them with money and giving them, the power of control over those, who are not wealthy. Not all companies are like this, it depends who runs them and what they want in life to give or to receive.

Campaign ads for cigarettes and alcohol are a prodigious concern for are youth. Companies are trying to brain wash the young in this world. It sends them mixed signals, in every aspect of life. It shows people over 18, having fun, healthy energetic, the cool ones, hot classy, money. But what about the downsides, the symptoms and diseases caused by smoking and drinking to much. They have some ads to prevent it such as the Above the Influence commercial and the TRUTH the smoking one. They make a song about
