Poetry: Autumn

by Daisy Haak

Created on: December 11, 2008

Leaves blow in the wind

As autumn rushes in

We feel the chill in the air

Reminding us that winter is near

No more blooming roses

Only cold red noses

Pull out the scarf; pull out the mittens

Stay away from the cold everyone is getting.

Christmas is just around the bend,

But most won't be ready by then
