How much cash should you keep in your wallet?

It is best to keep as little cash in your pocket as possible. Remember, there are pick pockets out there just waiting for the chance to score big with a wallet full of money. Don't make it easier for them to make you their next victim. You never want to have all your money you have in one place. This makes it easier for someone to steal from you.

Be smart about your money. Your wallet should carry no more than $50 in it. The rest should be in your checking account where no one can see it. Carrying a limited amount of cash is safer and wiser. It will decrease your chances of overspending. In some cases it can even save your life. This is what you need to do.

What should be in your wallet? Well, you should have your essential identification cards. You should also have your check cards. These are the most important items to have. This is all you need. You do not need to have anything else that would attract unnecessary attention.

Personally, I don't feel safe carrying a lot of cash on me these days. It makes me feel like a target. That is what you will feel like when you walk around with wads of money on you. When I look at people , they seem to be stressed about money. There was one time when someone took it upon themselves to steal $100 from me. It was in my bag at the time. I took my eyes of my purse for two seconds and it happened. I went into my purse looking for the money and noticed it was missing. It upset me so much because I was planning to use the money to go shopping that same day. It takes time to earn $100, but a moment to make it disappear. People are desperate. They will do what it takes to get a little money in there pocket. they will go against their morals.

It is not a good idea to keep too much money in your wallet. You never know what people will do. Doing so will only increase your chances of becoming a victim. Carry no more than $50.00 on you at one time. This is the best thing to do. Carry your debit card on you instead of large amounts of money. They are more discreet than cash. Be wise, be smart and be careful. In the current times we live in, people are doing things they would never do before. The slowing economy has brought out the worst in many individuals. Many people have lost their savings and jobs. They don't care. They are bitter and frustrated about their lives. Don't take your chances, by testing the waters. Don't let your guard down for even a second.
