MAXIMUM OVERLOAD: THE LIFESTYLE OF A TRUE POETESS SOCIETIES SAVIOR

Music, drama, performing arts, graphic design all started out with words. Hey, even the foundation of this world was created by words. The power of words are so magnetic and profound that to exist in a world without poets would be boring and deafening. How, could any of us function without hearing Shake spear or August Wilson who both started out with words on the page! Contrary to popular belief we aren't all in West London (as stated by Glenda Hill).

Writing poetry, has been the life line to which sheer elegance has been identified. Spoken word, is the element by which history in the arts has derived. Time travel with me for a time, and I want to lay my hat on several cult classics that still get close to me even now. Fame, Everyone hears that song and listens to Irene Cara come over the airways why? Because of the words that's spoken the music is nice, the show is great but with the words "Take your passion and make it happen" or Debbie Allen's words "Fame Costs and right here is wear your going to pay in sweat! Come on! words are what made the foundation of this world, made Millionaires out of Berry Gordy, Sean Combs, and all of the other performers or poets that have swept the nations.

Writers, are needed within society to shed the light on worlds that aren't otherwise showcased on the main screen. Society, is divided between the have and the have no ts and with that divide it's makes it for our voices to be heard. Many, of us have experienced things in this life that are so horrific and terrible that society wouldn't have the means to cope with it. So, poetry gives us the chance to be heard and be recognized by our talents and not by the negatives that you see about on main stream t.v. Poets, that are needed to bring out conversations that need to said and voices that need to showcase ideas that are innovative and profound. Many of are diverse in the ideals that we have providing society with a better look into our reality. We, are educated and some, can speak in such a profound way and really have a wonderful head on their shoulders. We, are professors, and wives(home-makers who are also running billion dollar businesses because although the money is good our families needs come before ours that's called sacrifice), pastors, doctors, lawyers, etc. Some of us have been forced out of the work force due to down sizing, or promoted to management, or decided to just drop everything and go into business for ourselves wanting to create legacies that will be remembered. Using our gifts and goals to mold and shape this earth. Yet, I do agree there are some that use their craft for negative gain. Yet, we all can agree we want to be heard. Having society in existence plus having poets makes this planet the melting pot of chance and will!
