Poetry: Breathing

I breathe in deeply,
silently, trying to bring my life back
I breathe out carefully, slowly
letting go of all my secret pains and past.
I inhale, beautifully, bringing in the summer air and the calm clarity of sun rays
I exhale and out departs the chains around my heart.
I let go. I release, I relax my soul and I breathe.
I release my mind and the echoes subside

Then...

Full inhale, breathing in power and life
From the crown to the heart, to the core and into the marrow of my bones.
Light radiates, surrounding me from the center and core,
In all six directions, in front of me, behind me, to my right, to my left, above and below.
My soul and my breath
My being, my breath,
Just a constant coming and going
Nothing to hold on to and nothing to grasp.
Flowing, continuous, without beginning or end.
My breath is I
I am my breath.

Here comes another...inhale.....
