I know that you are out there and can hear what I am saying
I know that you are out there and can feel what I'm conveying
I know that you are out there and I think that you should know
I hope there is some peace for you wherever you now call home
I don't think things ended for you the way you had hoped
I don't think you realize all the pain you caused when you chose the road you chose
The problem is the road you decided that you should take
Led you straight to my front door
The pain you caused lives on forever more
I have learned to let the anger go and forgiveness is my friend
How hard that was to give to you after the way things all ended
If you are listening now, I wonder if you've found peace
I have never meant ill will towards you
You have suffered enough indeed
I have only one question, I will never know the why
Did you ever really love me
Or was that another lie
