Long Kiss Goodnight

Mom laid me down last night

She told me she had lost the fight

I didn't understand her words

As she held me very tight

She played with my hair one last time

And gave me a long kiss goodnight

That was the last time I saw my mom

But she is always with me

And when I miss her the most

I remember that long kiss goodnight
