Poetry: Crazy world

by Worldly Evilson

Created on: December 11, 2008

Whilst drinking afternoon tea I witnessed something quite odd.

A man with crows strapped to his back.

From his flight, he descended and walked to my porch, an angel of all black

This man with crows strapped to his back.

He stood at my stair, shaking.

He sat and he cried, his crows danced as he did.

This man with crows strapped to his back.

I ran down the stairs to his soft lachrymose and asked him why.

It was quick and abrupt, these words uttered by,

The man with crows strapped to his back.

"Because I'm no longer here I'm dead."

In a crowd of black feathers, his crows took him away,

this man with crows strapped to his back.

Black feathers settled and he was nowhere.

My back ruffled.

Me with crows strapped to my back.
