Who Is This Sandaled Man
Who is this sandaled Man,
That walked amongst us so long ago,
He was patient, kind, and loved us so.
Can you see Him in your minds eye,
Back 2000 years ago,
Walking, laughing, sharing, crying,
As in human form He lived so.
Who is the sandaled Man, who speaks love, and forgiveness,
Just not for your neighbor, but yourself, and to witness.
He lays no blame on those who see His Light,
Only on those who make His children suffer plight.
This sandaled Man who taught us to love, and live without fear,
For deaths door holds no power over His children that He holds so dear.
This sandaled Man gave His life for us out of love,
This sandaled Man is Jesus The Christ. The Lord, The Son Of God above.

Through grief and everlasting night,

Came Christ;
