Dreaming of Oz

Batten down the hatches

There's a storm comin

The blood red sun is bleeding through the broken trees

And a black and blue skies crying like I'm crying

For another sunny day

Funny how it feels when you're gone

Like someone lifted a house off of me

And the fear is slowly dying like I'm dying to let go and fly away

Dreaming of all that we can be

Stretching out across the blue sky

My feet on the ground

I pack my things and run away

Through the laughing wildflowers

Batten down the hatches

You'll soon be breaking dished in the kitchen sink

And you're fury's flying like I'm Flying

Out the back screen door to my destiny
