FLYING FREE
So this is goodbye,
Funny, but I thought we'd make it through,
I was flying so high with you
I could have touched the moon,
I could have danced with you forever,
But the band stopped playing
Far too soon,
But I know you'll never leave me
Even in this empty room,
When these are my dreams
And you'll always be part of them,
Locked inside my heart,
Where I'll always remember them,
Inside
Such a fierce pride resides
Now that I can see
You're flying free.
