To Love You
To love you is to breathe...to feel the air moving in and out of my lungs. To love you is to see...to see everything clearer, more vivid. To love you is to hear...to hear the tiniest sounds become a symphony of music.
To love you is to feel...to feel the slightest touch and be swept away by the mere nearness of you. To love you is to take in your essence...to smell your scent, that clean, sensual aroma that is unique to you alone. To love you is to taste...to taste the sweetness of your kiss, the tenderness of your lips and to exchange a tiny portion of our souls.
To love you is to take the smallest amount of time...take it and turn it into an eternity of ecstasy, just you and me. To love you is to cherish every look, every touch, every single second of being near to the very beat of your heart.

It lays there where you left it,
When you walked right out the door.
I

at rest where it's safe
your scars though healed
so deep and afraid of pain
Reality now your keeper
I feel
