a new lead singer and are touring again!
Peter Gabriel
Part of Genesis at its inception, he may have been the deepest thinker of the bunch. Shaking the Tree is one of the greatest albums of all time. Of course "In Your Eyes" has been voted one of the best love songs ever. But have you listened to "Red Rain?" Rad!
Enya
She was the classical we all loved. Still releasing albums, she keeps the pop beat and personality and combines it with ethereal grace and moving combinations of drums and wind instruments. Check out "Storms in Africa!"
Men at Work
They came from "A Land Down Under", said "Be Good Johnny," wondered who was knocking on the door, then disappeared. But we loved them and wish they had stuck around.
Bruce Springsteen
Born in the USA is another of the greatest albums of all time. Bruce caught the patriotism and mixed it with real world anger and problems with deft honesty. Plus, he wrote love songs, both for people and his Hometown. Lovely album with many more wonderful albums that have followed.
Depeche Mode
Still releasing albums and songs, this band walked the edge of conventional acceptability. Violater is an album rich with anger, love, blasphemy, and more love. Did you ever attend an eighties dance or early nineties dance without one of their songs getting played? "Somebody to Love" anybody?
Tears for Fears
Songs from the Big Chair. The shout-therapy popularizing song: Shout. A great band with a funny looking guy that released a song about Moses on a motorbike.
