Searching white billowing clouds
.....midst electric blue skies
..........crisp cool air
laying in tall grass
.....back to Mother Earth
..........must have been daydreaming
Looking around the strange
.....proportions are all wrong
..........yet familiar
Something is happening
.....a blade of grass
..........looks as tall as a tree
As I look again
.....an odd feeling
..........of recognition
Need to accept
.....how small I am
..........how small we are
Thoughts seem confused
.....eyes feed on the light
..........photons flash by
My mind slips away
.....trying to understand
..........knowing I don't need to
What better chance to view the world
.....snow begins to fall
..........the trees are bare
Must have been a memory
.....a daydream
..........of summer past

Poetry: Daydreams
by tappajabba
A five-minute break, to catch my breath,
(halfway up a mountain in the Arochar Alps, Scotland):
Ahead of me, I see a blue
Daydreams.
Often in a quiet time I let my mind drift,
To places that I've never gone;
Dreaming dreams of great heroic deeds,
by PJ Settle
Eyes open wide
Eyes wide open and in my mind
treasures of a heartfelt love I find
The softness of your hands I feel
steady
Whenever it got tough on the outside
An always ajar door on the inside
Would invite her further in
Here was Peter Pan, Cinderella,
by Moeze Lalji
Daydreams
Come in a million
To earn millions
But none of them
Open the gates
Of the rich
Mama wakes
Me up
From the veranda
Why don't
