Can God sympathize with man and his faults

Can God sympathize with man and his faults?
This question is saying that God created man and left him to deal with his punishment alone. God cast Adam and Eve out of the garden, while giving them the promise of victory and hope at the same time. God created us for fellowship with Him and He gave us free will to choose to obey Him or go our own way. Adam and Eve chose to go there own way. God still wanted His creation to have fellowship with Him and instituted the various laws to provide humanity a way to find forgiveness for their sins and have Gods blessing and protection.

When you create something such as a poem, painting, or build something out of wood, how do you feel if someone else changes or destroys it? There is a feeling of violation of your very being. God feels the same when the serpent led astray Adam and Eve. He wants to restore His creation to its original state, just as you would if your creation where damaged. How far would you go to restore you creation? You would do everything in you power to see that it was restored just like new. What do you think an all-powerful God would do to see His creation restored and fellowship renewed between Him and those created in His image?

To accomplish this God instituted the various sin offerings even taking into account the wealth or poverty of the individuals. This was not a surprise to God and something He had to come up with at the time, but this was a plan that God had all alone, since He knows the beginning from the end. When the time was right, God had the Israelites build the temple so He could be in the presence of His chosen people. However, God also make the stipulation that the people had to obey His laws and follow the prophets or He would allow the nations around Israel to conquer and take them captive, which occurred many times. However, God never left His people without hope of deliverance from that captivity. God said that if His people who are called by His name would call upon Him and worship Him, He would heal their land and be their God. This sounds like a God who cares about His creation.

The captivity which all of humanity suffers is the captivity of sin. God had the sin offering in the Old Testament, which is a picture of the true sin offering, which was offered once, for all those who will believe, Jesus Christ, the Son of God who gave His life for the sin of humanity. He was beaten beyond recognition for our sins, and yet while hung on the cross and His blood was running down and into the dirt, He looked up and said, "Father forgive them, for they know not what they do."

With all God has done and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, I believe that we can not even begin to feel how God sympathizes with us, and the longing He has for a renewed fellowship with us if we would just believe and accept Jesus as our Savior. Jesus Christ has shed His blood on that old rugged cross for me and you, what will you do now that He is calling for you to respond, be washed and make whole?
