An assessment on the thought of removing porn from the internet is not realistic and it can never be done. There are several thoughts on why that is the case. Looking at it, there is a way to ignore it and do not even worry about it even being there. Porn is something that has been around for many years for the record and probably will continue to do so even when everyone is gone and a new generation is porn. It is just a fact that cannot be ignored. Having said that, here is why it cannot be considered realistic.
First off, that would be just like prohibition, which is the 18th amendment of the constitution. To make it illegal, there would be probably a group that would probably go about putting it online again. Now, there are different types and the ones that should be eradicated would be the ones that involve kids. That has to be realistic to eliminate one segment that shouldn't be allowed anywhere whatsoever. Those who are involved should be locked up and blocked from any internet or any access whatsoever to anything of that nature. You could try to make it illegal but the fact is it will remain but can be ignored. That is the only true way it can be dealt with in that respect.
Another fact that has to be taken into account is that as soon as one site is taken down, another will surely rise up. It is like a cockroach, you try to squash one and another one surely follows. It is extremely difficult to actually get rid of them completely. That is just something that must be taken into account because without it, the battle like that would keep going on and on until one side gets completely exhausted and just says enough and stops right there.
However, they can be ignored without question. There is an ability to set up restrictions on your own browser that should be able to restrict such sites. That is realistic and the only way to combat it. If they ever lost money, then it would really be a way for it to go. The reality of the situation is that it would be just virtually impossible to be able to do so. It is possible but would be extremely difficult. To make that a life long goal is just something that is never going to be accomplished. That is like achieving the level of perfection. It just cannot happen.
The only true way to hurt an industry such as that would be not to buy anything. Avoid the PPVs or the On-Demand services whatsoever. Do not go to any of those stores and it will hit in the wallet. A little bit won't do much but every little bit does have
