First let me say that I am not as familiar with quantum physics as the writers in this thread. I am not sure what is physics and what is not physics. I do not have a scientific background, nor keep up with each and every change that comes out of the scientific world. And that, of course, is a part of the problem in any writing, there will always be a new idea or theory coming in to refute the last one.

I do believe the observer becomes a part of any experiment in life. They bring their own experience to the happening and thereby decide what the experience means according to their own knowledge. This we can not escape. We are a collection of our experiences and knowledge and it colors all else we touch as we go.

As a spiritual being I would hope this makes me a better person with each experience. As we learn how to handle things spiritually, we shine with our own light of knowledge. And I do believe we are here on the earth plane for spiritual lessons. How they occur with each individual is a matter of their own experiences and how they handle them in spirituality.

I also know we are energy. In the material energy we have a vibration that allows us to see all the objects in our world as solid and useful. As a spirit duplicate, we vibrate at a finer level and it is within this level that the spiritual lessons are recorded (as light) for our continued existence beyond the material vibration.

Our mind has an energy all its own. It operates with the material energies in the material body and it operates in the spirit with the finer energies. It comes together as total mind, with all experiences in tow, when we separate the spirit from the physical body on the death of the physical body. The spirit is eternal and moves into another realm, the spirit being the finer vibration for this realm of existence.

I believe that the spirit and body can separate and the physical body remain alive as long as the silver cord is not disconnected. It is a form of mind travel. The astral realm from all explanations available is the lowest of all forms beyond the earth existence. It comes complete with uneducated and unreliable entities. So any communication from this level is suspect at best.

The how to books show the potential for the mind to separate from the body and to travel to visit a friend in another area of the world. The spirit is a fluid existence and this is definitely possible. It is also described in out of body experiences as well as astral flight.

Whether or not physics explains this or confirms this is not necessary for those that experience such travels. There are mind experiences that come to us by word of mouth. There are spirit experiences that can be witnessed by all in the environment.

We use 5 senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, touch - tactile and emotional) in our material environment with all the energies available for our use to decipher what they are telling us about our environment. Anyone with the least of sensitivities can feel there is more to the senses than the material vibration. But when we add intuition (gut feelings) and a heart source knowing, there is definitely something more than this gross level of vibration.

When they vibrate at the finer level of sensitivity they are using a psychic aspect of ourselves. We are all capable of this sensitive level, some being stronger than others as with all talents and skills.

I don't know if physics confirms or denies these ideas. I just know they work with many people and when in use for the greater good have been seen to help spiritualize the soul of the individual using the talents.
