I am
Only a husband

When my soul speaks
To me
What it brings
To my eyes

It is the love
That I have for
All of us

So when I cook
A meal for all
Of us

I mean it
It is for all
Of us

To eat together
On the loving
Table provided
By Our Lord

Then again is it
Not hurting
That I have to
Write this sad
Poem for the shelf

Saying do you
Know how it
Feels when
You close the

Doors of my
Feelings from
Our Lord
In our family

That we all end
Up eating
On separate islands
In the house
As and when we feel

Yet can you imagine
All your family
All my family
Respect the food
Together given by
Our Lord

I am
Only a husband
Taking care of my
Hurting tears
That have no value
In your world

Closing the spiritual
Heart of my mother
That I want to pass
Down
As something
I really enjoyed
On earth

To light the future
World of good
Soul loving
Traditions
Through generations
To come

Crimes are punished
But when good
Feelings are punished
Only a husband
Carries this hot winds
To the world
Asking am I mad
For the way I feel

Coming back with
Cold winds of life
Taking the
False imprisonment
To maintain the
Loving peace
Of the family

Only a husband
Through a small
Window of life
Saying sorry
Our Lord
I tried
Forgive us all
In the daddy
Spiritual feelings
Thrown in the dustbin
