"Mississippi Crossroads"
At a Mississippi crossroad
I waited for Old Scratch
In search of fame and fortune
Through the flicker of a match
At midnight out beneath the stars
I sat with my guitar
As the very Prince of Darkness
Drove up in his car
I gave away my greatest gift
And from me, my soul was torn
And in the gloomy Mississippi night
A legend there was born
The fallen one bestowed on me
The title "King of Blues"
But now my days are numbered
And it's time to pay my dues
I played for Kings and Presidents
And I hit the notes so well
All said my skills were heavenly...
Now it's time to go to hell
Was it worth it? Here's my answer:
Well, mister, it's a fact
To be welcome in my maker's arms
I'd gladly give it back
On my deathbed, here's one final prayer
Dear God, forgive my sin
Won't you please redeem my soul
And take it back ag'in?

Satan is a baby alone
Propped up against the TV
Waiting for her mother
To come home to her
And ever has she been fatherless
Prince of his own kingdom, he alone does rule in hell.
Lord of all the darkness, once an angel, til he fell.
