Nemesis
When I'm all alone and no one is there
Your demon face casts a shadow on me
A shadow of demise taking no care
To watch all my fear manifest from thee
Why do you call on me now in secret?
To rob me again of my will to fight
You force me to live in all my regret
No release can be found in my worst plight
Is it your will to live this life so vain?
With no purpose, but to torture my soul
Is there no cure for my ill fated pain?
Perhaps, but for now I hear the bell toll
But wait, off in the distance the son shines
He will beat this hurt and show me the signs
