Christmas gifts for the woman who has everything

Buying a gift for the woman who appears to have everything can certainly be a challenge, but we live in an increasingly material world, and when we refer to someone who has everything, we are usually thinking in material terms. If you really do have to buy for someone who appears to have all the possessions she could possibly want or need, think about giving her something that she can "do" rather than just one more thing she can "have". Consider giving her one of the following:

An adventure. Has she been sky diving, rock climbing, hot air ballooning? Would she enjoy driving a race car or learning to dog sled? If she is affluent enough to have everything she may also have shelled out a lot of money over the years on exciting trips and activities, or she may not have. She may have been too busy earning money. Tune in to her interests and see if you can think of a really exciting activity for her to try (or for the two of you to try together). Check out http://www.giftybox.com/product.php?productid=78 for gift passes for everything from bungee jumping to whale watching.

A new skill. So, she has everything, but can she do everything? Would she like to learn to cook, skate, or speak Italian? A short course or work shop to introduce her to a new hobby and learn a new skill in a great atmosphere with like minded people could be a life long gift as she learns a skill she loves and connects with new friends. Again, you'll have to really tune in to her interests to get this right.

Creativity. There is a theory that being creative is one of the most satisfying things a human being can do. Creating things is way more fulfilling than just accumulating things, and most of us don't make the most of our creative sides. For the woman who has everything, becoming a producer instead of a consumer can be a refreshing change. Would she like to write, paint or sculpt? A course of classes, starter kit or even an introduction to a possible mentor in an area she's interested in could be a worthwhile gift. For residential courses check out "creative safaris for women" at http://artistacreative.com.

Time. People who have everything often tend to be very busy. Give her the gift of time by offering to take over some of her responsibilities for an hour, day, or weekend. Arrange for her to go for a relaxing lunch/day trip or weekend away with her best friends or favorite relatives while you do.

People. Busy women may not have time to keep up with friends and family. Consider throwing her a party
