As a man, I have no right to even discuss this issue, but nonetheless, I must.
There are various psychological problems that come after an abortion - women I have known have experienced it. Before Roe v Wade, almost every state in the Union outlawed it. There must be a reason, and that reason was not just the physical trauma that was experienced but the emotional trauma as well.
The real reason why the Supreme Court overruled laws in 46 states against abortion was because they wanted to increase the population of the browns and the blacks, and decrease the population of the whites. It has indeed become a racist issue. What do you know? In allowing so many white women to experience the joys of having their "fetus" murdered, they went into a type of trauma which to this day still exists. After all, white women could afford it. Notice at the same time that the Federal government was outlawed by Congress for funding abortions. Therefore, only the wealthier population could afford it. Ergo, the white women.
Now, of course, many blacks and Latinos have had the operation done, but is there something in the concience of all women of all color that says, "This is wrong."? When we, as men and women do something terribly wrong, we feel it. We live in a sinful state, and we believe that there is no way out of it. And, then, our lives become pure hell. We can't function anymore, we can't be there for our loved ones, we can't do simple things - like clean our rooms or do laundry. We can't act as normal people anymore - all because of a decision to kill an innocent child. At that point, we are no longer "with it". This is as true for the men who pressure their girlfriends or wives to abort a baby as it is for the women who make such a decision. It is as true for the African-American woman as it is for the Latino woman. It is as true for the preacher's wife as it is for the most destitute and homeless of women. However, the effect was that more white women had abortions than blacks or Latinos, per capita.
The psychological problems come to bear, and they are not at all easy to dismiss. Think about it! You snuffed out a life. You never gave him or her the opportunity to see Paris, or Aculpalco. Or pet your dog or cat. Or be a father or a mother to a beautiful, sweet child. You never gave him or her the opportunity to play on the playground with the other children, or to make a wish, and see it come true. You never did any of that, because you are basically selfish. I was an
