Driving in Great Britain is one big headache,for a start the roads at far to crowded,there are to many road works,and the biggest and worst problem is the trying to find somewhere to park your car,and when you find a parking space all to often they will charge you a fortune to park.London is the worst offender that comes under this category, I happen to drive to London every week to work I have to take my car as I have to fetch materials from all over London to do my job ,this means that I have to park my car any were that I can near the place were I work,to use the parking meters is a no no,you can only park for two hours,this will cost you an arm and a leg,and then you have to drive away and find one more bay away from the bay were you parked.

The only other way to park is to find a car park,these to are expensive ,most will cost you over thirty pounds to park for a day,that is one hundred and fifty pounds a week that you must find ,just to park your car,thats beside the London congestion charge that they make you pay just to come into London ,If you park anywhere else the traffic warden will give you a ticket before you have even turned of your engine.

Now as we see all to often ,other city's in Britain are following the London way ,In my city of Stoke On Trent just to park your car outside your home ,we are being made to pay a charge once a year,this means that we now have to pay to park our car outside our homes,and if you have any visitors ,well its tough luck ,they only give you one parking permit for one visitor.what a good money spinner this is ,for lurking around the corner will be the ever prudent traffic warden with his trusty camera and note pad willing you to park your car so that he can give you a ticket,and they are out till 930pm every night so dont you dare park your car without that small sticker that says that you can park,

Go shopping at the weekend and it will be the same it will probably cost you at least four pounds to take your car into town and park it up in a car park.Parking in Great Britain is one big cash cow for local councils,even when you go on holiday at the seaside we are charged over the top car parking charges.When I holiday overseas I talk to people that live in the country's that I am holidaying in ,and they tell me that the reason that they no longer visit Great Britain is ,that it cost to much just to visit,there main outcry is that it costs to much to park the hire car any were in this fair land.
