My Perfect Place
I set out looking for a certain place
Something I knew I couldn't replace
A place to be alone with my thoughts and dreams
A place that was quiet, mystical, and serene
I did not know what it would look like
I knew it'd be a place to spend my life
A place to take all my sorrow and regret
A place I knew would forgive and forget

I had no idea though what fate had in store
A place so perfect in the grand scheme
A place so beautiful it could only be a dream
I set out looking for a certain place
A place I finally found
Hidden in your embrace
