Poetry: The way you love me

by Kelsey Opel

Created on: December 04, 2008

I am a beautiful grand piano,

Secluded in a dark room,

Save for the only one who plays me.

His fingers gently trail along my keys

As I let out a soft, almost inaudible sound

That echoes throughout the room,

Allowing my voice to be heard.

He begins playing louder, his fingers dash along my keys

And I am pleased I have found freedom at last,

Freedom to be me.
